Everyone should just chill out. Apple might just be having network glitches.
Once they sort it out, everything will return to normal.

i'm guessing it's just a connectivity thing, i have a high bandwidth account from another provider and occasionally i've had these errors show up or simply have "not available". no biggie, it works 99.98 percent of the time

I'm with Rogers. A week ago in my area, podcast downloads worked swimmingly. Early last week, they just stopped. Unless the podcast is less than a megabyte in size, odds are it will stall halfway through. It's bad enough that I'd say 95% of all my 20 subscribed podcasts will not get updated if I click the update button. They will completely stall out.

NOT APPLE's FAULT

This is a well documented and discussed "feature" of the Rogers Communication service.
This ISP will only allow a limited amount of traffic in the hope of limiting P2P networks. It is known to cause problems with UseNet, VPN, and services such as Apple iTunes Store.
Once again, the media companies are using their influence to hurt consumers.
Editors at iPodNN: Please change or remove this story as it is only a matter of time before the major media picks up this false and erroneous story.

Single songs, too

I've gotten intermittent errors like that even just downloading the free song of the week. I think they are bumping up against some thorughput limitations, or perhaps some glitches with their content providers (used to be Akami).

Never had a prob until I started d/l-ing iTMS videos, esp. TV shows. Apple may be in the process of sorting out their own bandwidth issues now that their hefting vids to people. iTunes > Edit > Check for Purchases has solved everything so far.

I agree with bwhaler that it's bad enough for M$ lickspittle news-sites to publish F.U.D. about Apple, but it is becoming increasingly common for MacNN to feature un-stories like this one that only lend weight to the stories when they are picked up by agenda driven sites. I'm not suggesting that MacNN only publish good news but at least they should verify their stories and weigh their relevance or significance. "Boy in Denver scratches iPod Nano" stories are not news!!!!

Except for one thing...

I'm not with Rogers and for the past two days I've been unable to purchase an album I wanted because "it was being modified", which seemed somewhat unlikely.
No, there's a real problem with ITMS recently when trying to purchase albums.
