Pyramid Design has updated its space simulator, . It features new Mercury, Redstone and Atlas vehicle 3D models as well as Redstone and Atlas launch facility 3D models. The game also features improved program performance and frame rate, new cloud generation, and a Freedom 7 capsule that is now available for suborbital missions. In addition, the company released the first Windows-compatible version of the game. "Armchair astronauts can download and try either the Windows XP or Mac OS X demo version for free. The full version is delivered on CD-ROM, which includes both Windows XP and Mac OS X versions and a bonus folder of historic Project Mercury Documents in PDF format." It is available for $50 (plus shipping).
