HyperPublish for QuarkDDS
Gluon today announced (Quark Dynamic Document Server), an extensible, server-based version of QuarkXPress used to create customized documents--using only a web browser--with the same typographic features made possible by the QuarkXPress engine. HyperPublish includes two main components: HyperRender--Gluon's server XTension--translates information sent from web browsers into instructions on how to create the requested document: HyperRender selects or creates a template, fills it in with appropriate content, adjusts it (fitting, balancing and alignment), resizes it (if needed) and renders it in a number of formats including, native QXP, PDF, PNG, JPEG, EPS and Postscript files.
