APSplit splits PDF files
Appligent today introduced (DE), a standalone application for preparing PDF files to meet the size requirements for electronic documents imposed by the courts and other government institutions. Based on Appligent's high performance SPDF libraries, APSplit DE runs independently as an easy-to use desktop application rather than as a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat. The software provides both file-size- and page-based options for reducing, cutting, or splitting PDF documents through a simple drag-and-drop interface. Users can specify the maximum size in the number of pages or kiloBytes or split files as individual pages, by page ranges or by bookmarks. APSplit DE also supports linearized PDF output, which enables a user to view the first pages of a PDF document while it is still being downloaded from the Internet. It is available for $200 for a single-user license.
