MYOB US today launched , an update to its popular small business management and accounting software for Mac OS X. MYOB AccountEdge offers complete sales and purchases modules, as well as banking features, inventory tracking, flexible time billing, customer management through the card file, and the ability to run a complete company payroll. Version 2006 features a 7-year transaction history option, options to combine two GL and contact files, improved inventory functions with "locations", support for multi-year budgets, new Timesheets functions, and other time-saving features, such as Payroll liability tracking, to-do lists, reoccurring invoices/purchases, better credit card charge support, etc. MYOB AccountEdge 2006, due in mid-December, is available for $300 for single-user license (additional simultaneous users are $150 per workstation or $500/5-pk). Upgrades are $140 (single-user) and $250 for the multi-user edition.
