...and of coarse the sony application is pc only so who cares
..it costs 20 bucks
Oh come on! The comparisons are only natural.
I mean, the iPod has parts, and the PSP has parts.. The iPod contains plastic and the PSP contains plastic. The iPod can be purchased, and the PSP can be purchased. The iPod reflects light and the PSP reflects light.
Both the iPod and the PSP can be used to hammer a nail - but not well. Neither one can really be used underwater without expensive add-ons. They both make ill-suited snow shovels, or tents.
But the most convincing similarity is that they both use letters for their names.
Identical I tell you.
"...Napster's leading brand position"??? Clearly, their deluded CEO's business plan runs something along the lines of er...leading from behind? Maybe someone should explain to Chris "Gorog" (wasn't that a creature in Star Trek?) that there's nothing to stop Apple running a subscription service in parallel with a pay to own model if they so choose and then Napster will be further ahead because em...they'll be further behind! Given that this guy doesn't seem to know the difference between back and front, I don't think I'd like to stand beside him in the Gent's!!!!
Mm...
PSP ($250) + 4GB HD ($200) = $450
iPod (w/built-in 30GB HD) = $300
iPod (w/built-in 60GB HD) = $400
Right.
Whoever wrote this article is insane.
I love my ipod and i love my PSP, but never the twain shall meet. I now have a staggering 5 gadgets to carry around with me:
1) PSP
2) IPOD
3) Cellphone
4) BT Headset
5) Powerbook
Plus add, Charger for PSP and Cellphone and Headset and IPOD/Powerbook share a charger. That's a small electronics store. Don't even get me started on the handful of UMDs for the PSPs.
OK...this is total insanity... but I'm _NEVER_ bored or unentertained.
Total and utter insanity.
