MacFair to feature 25 seminars, 18 workshops

The southern California is to be held this weekend, November 4th and 5th at the Cerritos College Student Activities Center in Norwalk, California. Over 40 Mac related companies, 25 Mac seminars, 18 Mac workshops taught by some of the world's top instructors (prices start at $90), and a few hundred Mac enthusiasts are participating. This year's keynote address will feature Steve Jobs' controversial biographer, Jeffrey S. Young the author of "iCon Steve Jobs: The greatest second act in business history." A new Mac geek culture documentary film, "Geeks on Board", will see its first public screening during the event, and over $3,000 in door prizes -- including an iPod nano -- will be given away over the weekend.

Attendees can recycle obsolete computers, monitors and old office electronics for free on Saturday. The vendor expo, presentation seminars, and the keynote address are to be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration for the vendor expo, presentation seminars and door prize entry is $20 cash at the door, or $15 with one-day advanced online registration. Advance registration deadline is Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 p.m. Parking is free on Saturday.
