GForce Future Retro Pack
In addition to the collection of GForce virtual instruments. Scheduled to be available through the holidays, the GForce Future Retro Pack combines all of GForce's expert emulations of vintage keyboards in one affordable package, including emulations of the Minimoog, ARP Odyssey, Oxford OSCAR and Mellotron. In addition to the authentic emulation in both sound and function, they offer modern features such as memory, additional modulation and new performance modes. They can be used alone or with most popular host software. Compatibility includes VST 2.0 (Mac/PC including VSTi), RTAS (Mac/PC) and Audio Units (Mac). The GForce Future Retro Pack is available for $450 through the holidays (a $520 value).
M-Tron
The M-Tron is a recreation of the classic Mellotron popularized by artists such as The Beatles, Yes, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson and The Moody Blues. It comes with over 2.5GB of real Mellotron samples including strings, choir, flutes, brass, and more. Minimum system requirements for Macintosh are Power Mac G3; 128MB RAM; Mac OS X; VST 2.0, RTAS, or Audio Unit-compatible host application for plug-in operation.
Minimonsta:Melohman
The Minimonsta:Melohman is an expert emulation of the classic Minimoog that was at the forefront of the analog synth revolution and popularized by artists like Jan Hammer, Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, Gary Numan and Kraftwerk. Enhancements include polyphony, programmability, morphing, additional LFO and ADSR, and delay. Minimum system requirements for Mac are 1.25GHz PowerMac G4; 128MB RAM; Mac OS X; VST 2.0, RTAS, or Audio Unit compatible host application for plug-in operation.
impOSCar
The impOSCar is a faithful reproduction of the classic OSCar synthesizer used by artists including Stevie Wonder, Billie Currie, BT, Keith Emerson and Geoff Downes. The legendary vintage synth has been faithfully reproduced to the last detail—along with some new innovations, according to M-Audio. It can be used in both stand-alone or host mode. Minimum system requirements for Macintosh are PowerMac G4; 64MB RAM; Mac OS X; VST 2.0, RTAS, or Audio Unit compatible host application for plug-in operation.
The Oddity
The Oddity is a meticulous emulation of the classic ARP Odyssey popularized by artists as diverse as Herbie Hancock, Styx, Ultravox and Portishead. Modern improvements include programmability, preset morphing, host-syncable LFO and automation. It can be used in stand-alone mode (Mac/PC) or as a plug-in for most popular host applications. Minimum system requirements for Macintosh are PowerMac G4; 128MB RAM; Mac OS X; VST 2.0, RTAS, or Audio Unit compatible host application for plug-in operation.
