iTunes 6.0.1 released

Apple today updated , its music software that integrates with the company's wildly popular iPod digital music player, as well as its online music store. The update provides several stability improvements over version 6, which was released on October 12th alongside the latest fifth-generation iPod with video capability. Version 6.0.1 enables iTunes users to preview, buy, and download over 2,000 video files from the iTunes music store. iTunes 6.0.1 is free via the Mac OS X software update feature, and purchasing video content requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

Does this not really take the piss more than a bit? I mean, how many f****** releases of iTunes are they going to feed us before we get fucked off with downloading it?

Geez... it's not THAT big of a download! Stop yer whining and get on with life!

Also, can you tone the language down a bit? The moderators also ought to take note and delete your post just on that issue alone.

    Re: Criminy

Have to agree with frogmella. Its like we're dealing with MS and their security patches. Every week, a new iTunes update! How come more people don't complain about Apple's apparent lack of reliability or quality control if they do nothing but push out bug fixes (maybe if they stopped trying to add new features and fix the existing problems, things could get better - oh, wait, I think that part is supposed to be on the "OS X.4.2 still buggy" forum).

Of course, it probably also requires a reboot after you install it, even more fun...

    ??????

So instead of updating its software and giving the consumer the benefit, you'd rather they hold off? They find a bug...they fix the bug...I'd rather they update the software. No one says you have to download it.
