Eskape Labs has released , a new TV tuner and MPEG video encoder solution designed to work with the Mac. The USB 2.0-based PVR (personal video recorder) device offers a 125-channel cable-ready TV tuner and a full FM stereo radio tuner and it includes composite and S-Video inputs. It includes a remote control transmitter, a wall mounted power supply, a one-meter USB cable, and a FM radio antenna. The $150 external solution, now available, requires a G4/500MHz Mac and Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later.
