Apple's Mac shipments in US in the third calendar quarter , more than quadruple the industry growth rate. numbers don't make sense

Last quarter, Apple's US share had risen from 3.7% in the first quarter to 4.5%. so Apple's sales went up by 44% vs 13 or so % for the indusrty as a whole and their markershare went from 3.3% to 4.3%?

This makes no sense. Somewhere the numbers are wrong.

    Re: don't make sense

I think the rise they're talking about is year-on-year. If you're talking quarter-to-quarter, yeah, it's actually gone down 0.2 of a percentage point.
