XtremeMac unveils 12 Nano accessories

XtremeMac Nano accessories

are designed specifically for iPod nano, playing and charging the Nano simultaneously. Features include four speakers and three watts per channel. A clear protective cover shields the Nano while docked and doubles as a base for the unit when opened. MicroBlast includes a travel pouch and interchangeable black/white frames to match either Nano model. The device is powered by an AC adapter or four AA batteries and is available for $120.

Iconz cases cover the entire face of the iPod nano while providing play-through coverage for the clickwheel, and feature a built-in screen protector. Offered in 12 designs that include SpongeBob SquarePants, Darth Vader, Bart Simpson, Speed Racer, Scooby Doo, Batman and Tweety Bird, as well as team logos of the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Angels. Iconz cases are available for $25 each.

TuffWrap silicone cases feature stylish curves around iPod Nano's clickwheel and display, provide a clear screen protector, and offer tread-style side grips. TuffWrap cases are available in nine new colors, and are packaged in groups of three for $25. A single translucent white case is also available for $20.

MicroFlex Car is a flexible car mounting system that charges the device through a vehicle's 12-volt accessory outlet. MicroFlex Car is compatible with AirPlay2 and XtremeMac's Cassette Adapter, and will be available in black or white for $50, or bundled with a black cassette adapter for $70.

An updated version of XtremeMac's car charger that powers any Dock-connecting iPod through a 12-volt accessory outlet. The car charger is available in black or white for $20, or bundled with a matching AirPlay2 for $80.

A slimmed-down SportWrap protects the Nano from moisture when performing outdoor activities by securing it to an arm or wrist with one of two adjustable Velcro straps. SportWrap features durable construction and play-through protection for Nano's clickwheel and display, and is available in black for $30.

MicroSport is a rugged foam rubber grip designed to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand, and is secured with an adjustable hand strap. MicroSport is available in black or purple for $30.

The clear, two-piece shell of iceFrame is made from impact-resistant plastic that showcases Nano's design while providing full access to the controls. Each iceFrame comes with interchangeable clickwheel accent rings in black, white, red, and blue with matching connecter posts for $25.

MicroShield provides a clear, two-piece shield that snaps securely onto the front and back of iPod nanos to protect against scratching. MicroShield ships with an integrated belt clip, and is available for $20.

MicroGlove offers sporty two-tone neoprene sleeves with contrasting trim and stitching, as well as a removable carabineer to provide clear screen protection and play-through clickwheel protection in five color combinations, available for $20.

iBling creates sparkling interchangeable covers for iPod nano with 750 colorful stones, non-toxic glue, an application tool, and two clear snap-on shields for $40.
