    2GB Nano is a joke

    No one is buying these, because what we really want is a 6GB nano (8GB in my dreams). The fact that Apple can't sell the 2GB and get stock the 4GB should be a message to Apple that they made a mistake with the capacity of these devices. Of course, I expect all of the small-weenied zealots that start carping that 2GB is enough, blah, blah, blah...

    Yeah, what's apple thinking of, not spending all that money on 6GB and 8GB flash memory for their nanos, instead of hawking this crud on us. Of course, if they made a 6GB nano, it'd probably need to cost $300, and who'd buy that when you can get a 20GB iPod with Firewire syncing capabilities for the exact same price!

    Me. And a lot of other people who want a small, exercise-friendly player. Many active people would never buy a full sized iPod, since it is cumbersome to carry around when running, etc. The fact that the 4GB nano is sold out and the 2GB is sitting on the shelves is a clear indication that people will spend more for the capacity. Apple should never have dropped the mini - they should have just made it a bit smaller with a color screen. Colors and capacity sell - that's why it was Apple's TOP SELLING PRODUCT! 4GB and 6GB is a sweet spot - 6GB and 8GB would be better.
