Apple offers Mac mini for $399, iBook for $699

Refurb Macs at Apple Store


Apple today reduced the price on its at the Apple Store. The refurbished. Apple dropped the price on its refurb 1.25GHz/40GB Mac mini by $100 to $399, while the faster 1.42GHz/80GB model is $450. Apple also reduced the price of its current-generation refurbished 1.67GHz 15-inch PowerBook G4 (with SuperDrive to $1,900. Other combo 15-inch PowerBooks are available for $1550 (1.33GHz/256MB/60GB) and $1,700 (1.5GHz/512MB/80GB), while the previous-generation 1.5GHz SuperDrive model is $1,700. Apple also cut the refurb previous-generation 17-inch PowerBook by $50 to $1950 and is offering refurb 12-inch iBooks starting for $700 (1.2GHz/256MB/CD) or $800 (1.33GHz/512MB/Combo). Apple is also offering refurb iPod mini (4GB) for $160 and 14-inch iBooks starting at $900.
