, a new version of its powerful 3D modeling and rendering software. Shade 8 features network rendering, stronger modeling tools including polygon mesh editing, better integration with Poser, a new Toon renderer, faster Radiosity calculation and an improved Callisto renderer. Shade imports many popular CAD formats to create sophisticated high-end renderings. Shade 8 is designed for architectural and interior design markets; product design and visualization; and character modeling and rendering. It is available for $200 (Standard) and $900 (Professional version with advanced modeling, lighting and rendering tools for architecture and design professionals). Special pricing is available for Poser and Shade 7 designer LE users for a limited time. The boxed version is expected to ship later this month.
