Apple's iTunes 5.01 update addresses stability issues

Apple\'s iTunes 5.01 update


Apple today released iTunes 5.01, an update to its digital music jukebox software for both Mac and Windows. Apple says the update, available as a 12.6MB download via the Mac OS X Software Update (and with the initial release of iTunes 5.0 for Windows, which Apple promised to address in a forthcoming update.

    I tried everything to get 5.0 to work on my Dull laptop under XP/SP2, but it would always crash right after the EULA dialog. I just installed 5.0.1 on top of my non-working 5.0, and yippie! It's working! Of course, 5.0 was working fine on my Macs...
