Transition Resource

Apple has launched an online resource for developers working to transition their applications to Mac OS X for Intel. The new is a central hub for resources and guides relevant to the transition. Apple links to several key downloads, quotes, documents, and videos relevant to developers. The QuickTime videos are available to Apple Developer Connection members only. Areas on interest include Porting from CodeWarrior, Optimization, Xcode, Universal Binaries, Altivec/SSE Migration, and more. The first Intel-based Macs are expected to ship in the first half of 2006. The transition will conclude some time before the end of 2007.
