Blue Nomad on Wednesday released , a tool for Mac users to backup their Palm Powered handhelds and smartphones. BackupBuddy 2 uses a unique process for maintaining a complete history of any given device's files and settings so that users can restore individual files or their entire device to any previous point in time. BackupBuddy 2 for Mac OS X contains all the features present in its Windows counterpart and works both with the MissingSync from MarkSpace, as well as with the standard HotSync software as supplied by PalmOne. "We are very excited to bring our advanced backup and restore technology to the Mac platform. Mac users can now benefit from the features previously only available on the Windows platform."
