Apple Tuesday released four important software updates for Mac OS X users. , which removes QuickTime 7.0.2 -- for users having problems with the release -- and restores version 7.0.1.

Although Apple says the updates mentioned in the article above are Tiger-only, Software Update on my Panther machine shows that a Java security update has also been released (version 4.0, according to the update list).
