I highly recommend Deja Vu to anyone who needs a simple back up solution to other hard disks. I have been using it since Jaguar and it has never failed me. The price cannot be beat.

If it had the ability to exclude folders it would be fantastic. It does not, so it's good for the price. From the FAQ:
Is it possible to exclude certain folders from being backed up?
Not directly, no. (The underlying command-line tool doesn't support folder exclusions.) Certain things like cache files are already excluded from the backup. If you have other folders you'd prefer to skip (maybe large folders like your 'Music' or 'Movies' folders), one thing you can do is move these folders to another volume, and replace them with aliases in your Home folder. In this case, you will only get a backup of the alias itself, rather than a backup of the original folder it points to.
