Logitech mice for laptops

Logitech today unveiled the , which uses Bluetooth wireless technology with notebooks that have an integrated Bluetooth receiver.

The Logitech V270 mouse is based on the design of the Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks. The mouse is charcoal gray in color and uses Bluetooth 1.2 wireless technology, which features adaptive frequency hopping to reduce the chance of interference from other 2.4GHz wireless devices such as Wi-Fi notebooks or cordless telephones.

Logitech says the mouse offers a battery life of up to three months, which can be extended further using the convenient on/off switch. Also, as part of Logitech´s smart power management system, the mouse features a low-battery indicator light, helping remove the potential surprise of a dead battery. The Logitech V270 mouse has a 1000 dpi optical engine, providing smooth, precision tracking on a wide variety of surfaces.

The Logitech V270 Cordless Optical Notebook Mouse for Bluetooth will be available in the U.S. and Europe beginning in November for $50. It will require Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later.

Built for the Road: Logitech V400 Laser Cordless Mouse

The V400 features a plug-and-play USB micro-receiver tucks away neatly inside the mouse's storage slot when not in use and the "sporty new mouse design" features a shock-resistant exoskeleton with a reinforced frame and dual-injected rubber rails. It is available in two different color schemes: silver with grey and orange accents, and grey with black grips. The mouse includes Logitech's Tilt Wheel Plus Zoom wheel and also includes fingertip-accessible Universal Forward and Backward buttons. The mouse requires only a single AA battery and automatically turns off when the receiver is inserted into the storage slot. It is available now for $50.
