The sept 7th announcement may be bigger than expected... Apple Exec Team including Jobs will attend the Paris Expo and there will be a Q & A session for the journalists.... does this mean Apple is willing to address and answer questions regarding the Intel switch ? Or to answer question on the new products being announced on sept 7th ? I don't remember Apple offering a Q & A session for the public without having any major new product... weird...
Ok, I get the updated iPod mini's and shuffles (and phone) are being announced Wed., but what about the new PowerBooks? I was really looking forward to an updated 12" or hopefully a new 13" this month (as the rumors suggested). Unless they announce them Wed., with no keynote in Paris, it doesn't look good for September. Apple: The PowerBooks need updating ASAP! I'm in the market for a new notebook, and the PowerBooks are technologically way behind comparable PC's. I need something light and portable, and the Sony S series is looking mighty nice compared to the 12" PowerBook (better specs, gorgeous screen, lighter, 13")! Come on Apple, update those PowerBooks!
Oh, as long as I'm dreaming, I could dream about a Apple designed cell phone, video iPod, video download service, and iTunes music subscription services too, can't I!
As hard as apple tries, people still won't get the fact that they can actually announce and release new hardware at any time, they are restricted (nor should they be) to making announcements at crappy trade fairs or developer conferences.

And here I was hoping he'd intro the final, kick-a** round of PPC PowerMac towers... with 2 dual core chips. Guess that's not in the cards...
