Aspyr Media today began shipping the Mac version of Electronic Arts popular golf title , available now, runs on Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later and requires a 1.2GHz G4/G5-based Mac.

Wow. Is it any wonder why the games-market for the mac is so slow? The minimum system requirements are excluding a good portion of installed mac base. My 2 year old high-end 17" PowerBook falls below the specs for a golf-game, yet I use it to edit high-end video on Final Cut Studio!
I'd love to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005, but I guess I'll have to get it for my PS2 or gamecube instead.
