Laridian Electronic Publishing has released iPocketBible, a . While most MP3 Bibles provide audio only, iPocketBible supplements the audio with complete Bible tex. Professional narration is performed by Mike Kellogg, national radio host of Moody Broadcasting's "Music Thru The Night". Features include complete text of the New Living Testament (Old Testament and New Testament); thought for thought translation; a new translation from the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts; complete MP3 audio for the New Living Testament; instant access to any book or chapter; a subject index; and links to audio from the Bible text. The text requires approximately 5MB of space for installation and can be played on any iPod with the "Notes" feature. Audio is in MP3 format and requires approximately 3GB of space for a complete installation; each portion can be installed seperately. iPocketBible ships on five MP3 CDs for $6.
