I've got the Foo Fighters CD - where's the protection? It imported into iTunes (and therefore an iPod) with no issues at all.
Are you saying that you can't import the CD with Apples lossless compression and transfer it to your ipod? What about if you import it in Peak and save it as an aiff, then import it via lossless compression into itunes?
1. can't seem to post on ipodnn. 2. what does this have to do with fairplay? that's for songs on itms, it has nothing to do with cds. 3. i've read about this before... i thought the issue is with the included wma files on the cd... duh, of course they won't work on the ipod... who cares? just rip the audio tracks into whatever format you want (mp3, aac, wav, aiff, etc.) 4. oh, it won't work on windows? you mean the cd won't even play on a windows computer (in any program)? put the cd in a regular audio player, hook it up to your sound card, and record the audio to your hard drive, or, just get a mac.
