The last two iPhoto updates have not worked with the software updates feature. Whats up?

I just realized that although I have been using iLife and installed it months ago, it did not install iPhoto 5. I have been running 4 all along. Installed 5 and all is well.
Dumb.

i'm glad to see apple get this fix out in a timely fashion. i was having all kinds of crashes and photo rotation problems with 5.0.3 and was, just this afternoon, looking into third-party software to replace iphoto all together. thanks, apple!
