Car powered by Mac OS X
Apple technology drives a new developed for a major U.S. competition, according to Macworld UK. Team Banzai is one of just 40 teams from around North America to have made it through to the semi-finals of the 2005 DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) Grand Challenge. h***, it can be eco-friendly too! No need for gas to move the car, just plug in the G5, have it render a move, and let its fans push it to where you're going (although don't render anything too complex, you don't want any speeding tickets!)

Good thing it does not run Windows, cause with it's wireless equipment, someone would manage to hack it and install the WinZX_carmageddon.virus into it have it auto activate when in a crowded area with lots of people and obstacles around.
Thank heavens this baby runs on OS X Tiger

Team Bonzai was not up to the task. They did not make it to the finals. Four teams finished the final course, all using WINDOWS computers. One team even used the same kind of car that Team Bonzai used.
Soooo, looks like windows and intel beats mac and powerpc yet again! Maybe we can get Team Bonzai to sell those G5s and try again with Pentium M machines!
