vara has released , the latest edition of the tele-prompting software for video broadcasts. It now contains a high quality, realtime keying solution for advanced blue and green screen effects. The key makes full use of Altivec and the GPU, and packs in cutting edge auto-configuration algorithms and advanced DV 4:1:1 and 4:2:2 smoothing techniques. Videocue 2 also makes creating podcasts "child's play," according to the developer.
