PhotoVu offers 19-inch wireless photo frame for $1000

PhotoVu today announced its for $1000, expanding the PhotoVu product line to a portfolio of three full featured, wall-mounted models. The company also cut prices on its 17-inch LCD model to $800 and added support for the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and iPhoto 5 photo management software, as well as announced new VESA mounting compatibility. The frames include a custom frame and mat made to order to match almost any decor. The PhotoVu digital picture frames, which require no software installation, can display digital photos via any network connection.
The 19-inch model features viewing angles of 140-degrees, a contrast ratio of 600:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m2, and a pixel pitch of 0.294mm. The higher-end 19-inch model, available for $1,200, offers the same pixel pitch and brightness, an expanded viewing angle of 170-degrees, a higher contrast ratio (700:1), and the ability to mount in portrait orientation. The 17-inch model ($800) features 300 cd/m2 brightness, a contrast ratio of 450:1, and smaller pixel pitch of 0.264mm.
An optional 40GB removable hard drive, or USB key drive, is also available for standalone operation for any of the three models. . All features and operations are controlled remotely from any web browser.
