A video iPod would be cool!
Add some PIM functionality and call it an iNewton.
even if full-length hollywood movies were too bulky or expensive to use on a viPod, music videos and cartoons would be very well suited to such a device. a quick Bugs Bunny or Mickey Mouse cartoon could really help pass the time on the subway, without being too much of a time consideration when deciding on whether or not to commit to watching a complete show.
movies suck
Just FYI, http://www.Cinematology.com is launching shortly with DRM-Free H.264/AVC MP4 video files available for download. Fits right in with Apple's strategy.

Mobile H.264???
Hi there,
first up huh? I should really start with "Feel more snappy(TM)"?? Anyway, if they are movies, they are gonna have to be in form that easily downloadable (file size?? for it worth while. Is this where h.264 steps in; say video at 300 by 120px that ONLY plays on the mythical video iPod? who knows, it really adds a very nice chapter to the whole iPod; plugins/upgrades for iMovie/FCP/FCE etc. I for one would "waste" time on the way home riding the bus watching a film or what ever.
