...is absolutely hilarious!!! I especially like the Flea collar.
I've seen that Sony flash player and with its features (the shuffle really has no features) it is a superior product. Fantastic screen and styling.
Unfortunately, it won't work with Macs and doesn't do AAC for you iTunes store junkies.
Oh well...
I cheked out the sony player and i affectively looks very cool. the screen is great, you actually know what is playing; of course it's not necessary but it's cool. I know as lot of people dont think a FM tuner is a nice featurre but I think it is.
The iPod Flea spoof if totally hilarious!!! «It actually play one mp3 over and over again›!!! No need for a screen!!! lol...
The site reporting the ipod covered train is quite slow. I saw photos of that train over a month ago.
I know the Sony player doesn't work with with the iTunes store but I think the bigger point is that there can be a quality mp3 player with a screen and an FM tuner built in for a reasonable price. I think a lot of people argued that it would cost Apple to much to make one.
I have an iPod and am wanting to buy another but will not until they include an FM tuner or both a tuner and a screen on the shuffle. There's just no good reason to not have them included now.

MS+Creative=Happy Apple
Microsoft is teaming with Creative to "challenge the dominance of the iPod". Now, Apple's nearest competitor, Creative (with less than 5% of the portable digital music player market), is gonna get an assist from Microsoft. That can mean only one sure thing: a gadget with a gazillion features that runs on bloated software and uses Microsofts' proprietary DRM that will not play nice with the only Online Music Store that matters: iTunes Music Store. Basically, Creative is screwed as a company as they will just be yet another pawn of the Redmond Giant because Microsoft is only interested in one thing: to dethrone Apple's iTunes Music Store and its' AAC & Fairplay DRM formats so they can take over control of all digital media with their own proprietary DRM formats.
