iPod -> PDA

Somewhat OT: First off, I'm a huge fan of the iPod and of the Newton (though I no longer own either device). I would love to see the iPod become the next Newton, though I realize the chances of Apple developing a full-blown PDA are slim (Jobs has repeatedly expressed his opposition to the idea). But, with the help of 3rd party developers, the iPod has shown it's capable of becoming such a device. Hopefully the popularity of said 3rd party software is strong enough to convince Steve that a Neo Newt has potential/viability in the marketplace. THAT would make me a happy Mac user.

My hat is off to the companies with enough vision to make the iPod more than "just" an MP3 player.
