19-inch LaCie 319 Monitor
features specs similar to the 21-inch LaCie 321 LCD launched last fall and is bundled with the LaCie blue eye pro calibration software, which offers simple one-click calibration. LaCie's 319 Monitor S-IPS panel presents pure, vibrant colors across the entire range via its contrast ratio of 600:1 and luminance of 270 cd/m2. The TFT-based monitor offers 1280 x 1024 resolution and includes a color-enhancing hood.
According to the company, the broad gamut of displayed colors is a wide 72% of the NTSC video standards and 100% of the EBU's. The monitor offers 10-bit gamma correction for what it says are "smooth transitions in color gradients most noticeably in areas such as skin tones or shaded black-and-white images."
It features expansive viewing angles of 178-degrees in all directions to prevent grayscale inversion or any loss of contrast from the widest range of vantage points. LacCie says that an A4 page in 1:1 format can easily be displayed in both landscape and portrait mode. In addition, it can be height-adjusted, tilted and swiveled. Landscape mode can easily be changed a full 90-degree to portrait mode viewing.
