Tiger places No. 3 on PC Mag's 100 Best Products

Apple's Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger was the No. 3 product in PC World's listing of " category:


    the iPod photo -- "A color screen, photo capability, and a TV-out option make this device the first truly useful digital audio and photo portable");

  • iTunes -- "It's great at letting you legally share music with others on the same network. Oh, and did we mention it works with the most popular audio player on the planet?"); and

  • the iTunes Music Store ("One-click simplicity, a huge selection, exclusive tracks, and playlists from many artists give it universal appeal. But we'd like to see a higher bit rate for downloads, as well as a subscription service.").

In the top 100 ranking, iTunes was No. 34, the Mac mini was No. 75, the iPod photo was No. 78, FileMaker Pro 7 was No. 80, and the iTunes Music Store was No. 86.
