LayerLink plugin adds Illustrator support to Motion

Ampede today released , a software plugin for Apple's Motion video effects package that brings native multi-layer Adobe Illustrator support. With LayerLink, motion graphics professionals can take advantage of Motion's realtime tools when using Illustrator artwork. LayerLink provides a new command in Motion's File menu that imports an Illustrator file as a Motion project, keeping layer settings, names, and visibility intact. Users can scale, rotate, move, apply filters and animate each layer separately. Version 1.2 adds PDF Compression support in Illustrator files, Mac OS X Tiger compatibility, and is localized in German. It is available for $120.
