Pixel Post Studios has released , an update to its Adobe Photoshop add-on that provides automation and extends the Photoshop feature set for digital video or broadcast television. Version 2.0 includes FTP file transfers from Photoshop, new alpha channel features for creating separate key and fill files, smarter alpha channel creation, sequence naming for Title Builder, a photo to video converter for batch processing digital photos for video, and more. The application offers automated creation of safe grids, support for multiple video formats (NTSC D1, DV, PAL, HDTV, etc.), custom keyboard shortcuts, and frame grabbing from connected FireWire devices. It requires Adobe Photoshop CS or higher and is available for $180 (upgrades are $50 for registered users).
