Atempo has announced that its data protection software now supports Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger as well as brings support for Oracle Database 10g on the Mac OS X Server. Time Navigator offers both backup and restore functionality via a high-performance scalable and reliable data protection solution that can integrate Mac OS X into heterogeneous network storage environments. It offers image-based restoral of virtually any "historical" client for easy, convenient data recovery, secured access control, data encryption, web-based administration, policy-based management, tape/disk backups, automated archiving, incremental backup, and SAN/NAS support.
