TechnoWarehouse has reduced the price on its . The upgrade is now available for $200, a $50 discount from its previous price. The company is also offering a $15 rebate on any returned (working) iMac CPU card. The G4 upgrade boosts iMac performance and supports any Mac OS from 9.x through 10.3--without any additional drivers. "The original iMac CPU was simply not powerful enough to run any version of Mac OS X. This G4 processor upgrade has 1MB of backside cache running at half the CPU speed, so not only do customers get a numerically greater processor clock speed, they also get double the cache memory. The result is a 2.5 times improvement in system speed." The user-installed upgrade includes a one-year warranty and works with Rev A/B/C/D iMacs.
