WiebeTech SATADock

WiebeTech has announced , which allows Serial ATA drives to mount via FireWire 800 (400 compatible) to a host computer. The Forensic version is write-blocked to inhibit attempts to write data to the SATA drive. SATADock "follows WiebeTech's tradition of providing tough docking enclosures" by offering a rugged aluminum enclosure. SATADock features a Serial ATA power and data connector, along with host side FireWire ports. It also has a power switch, along with a power indicator and an access indicator. Bottom plates are included for attachment to hard drives. The device will sell for $450 starting April 26th.
