Sonnet reduces pricing on upgrades, PCI adapters

Sonnet reduces prices


Sonnet has reduced pricing by $20 to $50 on several G3 and G4 processor upgrade cards and PCI adapter cards for various PowerBook and Power Mac computers. Prices are now as low as $200 for the Encore/ST G4 1.0GHz, the first time a 1.0GHz upgrade has been in this price range.

Sonnet's new prices are as follows:



500MHz now $200 (was $250)

Compatible with the PowerBook G3 Series 233, 250, 266, 292, 300MHz (Wallstreet).



Encore/ST G4 1.0GHz now $200 (was $230)

Encore/ST G4 1.7GHz now $450 (was $500)

Compatible with the Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics), (Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Audio, QuickSilver).



Encore/ST G4 1.2GHz now $250 (was $300)

Encore/ST G4 1.7GHz now $450 (was $500)

Compatible with the Power Mac G4 Cube



Encore/ZIF G4 700MHz now $200 (was $250)

Compatible with the Power Macintosh G3 (All-in-one, Desktop, Minitower, Blue & White) and Power Mac G4 (PCI Graphics).


Tango 2.0 FireWire/USB Combo PCI Adapter Card now $50 (was $70)

Compatible with almost all Power Macintosh and Power Mac models.


Tempo Serial ATA Host Controller PCI Adapter Card now $80 (was $100)

Compatible with almost all Power Macintosh and Power Mac models.
