Amazon is offering a a , the next generation of Apple's operating system. Expected to ship in the first half of this year (and rumored to ship next month), Mac OS X 10.4 will bring several new features and enhancements to the Mac operating system. Amazon is offering a special $35 mail-in rebate, bringing the final price to $95. The promotion applies to all purchases made by May 31st (and postmarked by July 1st). The retail price is $130 and Amazon says it will ship the product as soon it arrives with no specific delivery date offered. [no longer available for order]
