is a sleek, USB 2.0 hi-speed flash storage drive that the company claims is virtually indestructible. The Cruzer Titanium will be manufactured using an advanced Titanium alloy from Liquidmetal Technologies, which it says is commonly used for aerospace, medical devices, etc. that require lightweight strength and the ability to withstand extreme temperature. SanDisk claims the unique alloy is approximately 2.5 times the strength of titanium. The 2GB Cruzer Titanium is expected to ship in April for $250, while 512MB and 1GB versions are currently available for $85 and $170. SanDisk also announced that it has doubled the capacity of its xD-Picture Card flash memory media with a new 1GB card.
