WiebeTech today announced its that feature up to 5 hot-swappable drives. In addition, it also has a space for a notebook computer and miscellaneous items. The included RT5 system handles large data acquisitions and has a capacity of up to 2.5TB (terabytes)--with a user-configurable RAID (0, 1, 3, 5) from the front panel and support for SATA, FireWire 800/400, or USB 2.0. It will ship in 5 weeks for $2,400, including the Pelican case, custom cut foam, and a single RT-5 RAID system (also available separately starting at $1,700).
