He can make it 96% if he brings out some more gddmn desktops. What's the hold-up, Steve? Too busy playing rockstar to crack the whip?
Ah ha ha ha ha… how do you say clueless in Britain? One more sign of the irrelevancy of the monarchy, all agog at glitter and baubles, they can chat over tea and compare their ill gotten wealth.
"But your majesty, the systems are down…"
"Let them use pencils and paper!"
I say "off with their heads".
I tried to download this video but this method is too damn arcane and it doesnt work.
for his outstanding contribution to enterprise
Yeah, if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't know what spyware was...
So the british now give out titles for things like this? What's next, honoring the local KKD franchisee for his outstanding contribution to doughnuts. Mmmmm....doughnuts.
What do you mean it's arcane and doesn't work?
Downloaded the torrent, double clicked and my preferred Bit Torrent client started (Bits on Wheels), asked me where I'd like to save the movie file and it started downloading at 170kb/sec+.
It works far better than any other method I know of to download large files. This is going quicker that downloading from Apple using the Akamai network (sorry if Akamai is spelt wrong - they could try an easier to spell name like "Freakin' Fast but not as fast as Bit Torrent").
Of course a little understanding of how Bit Torrent works does help if you're one of the people who try downloading just after the torrent is posted. There's plenty of places on the web that explain that so I won't take up space in this forum.
I'm averaging higher than 200kb/sec now. Just thought you'd like to know. Seems to be working from where I'm sitting!
"Off with their heads". . . soooooo-already been done.
It's called the iMac mini, Baby-doll. So BYODKM!
