Just proves the iPod is the market trend setter. Not only are all new HD players just clones of the iPod's Basic design, but they can't even make a revision and price update without Apple making one first. Proves Dell et al, can't design worth a hill of beans. Speaking of which, PLEASE read the story on the the e-hip computer. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Dell couldn't design something new if the plans were laid in front of them.
The fact is they never have designed anything or had any real R&D dollars. They simply buy other components (or finished stuff) and slap their name on it.
No new developments, no trend setting, just cloning of other's ideas.
