They have an HD version. It just costs $$$$
Also there is nothing about TiVo that is analog anyways. The feeds from Satellite are mpeg 2 from directv.

Apple buy Tivo?
That's totally stupid.
Tivo is a digital application grafted on top of an analog technology.
Apple is all-digital.
Apple doesn't need a DVR device;it makes more sense to go the path of Quicktime MPEG-4 downloads via an ITMS-like service to settop devices like the mac mini.
Tivo offers absolutely nothing to bring this dream to reality.
