GuitarPlug, MicPlug ship

JamPlug, part of DVForge, announced today that its new plug-in form factor USB audio interfaces for Mac OS X are now shipping. The GuitarPlug and MicPlug are both just 2.3" by .7" in size, are USB bus powered, with an on-off switch, and a blue LED power indicator. Each converts mono analog audio to 16-bit, 48KHz digital USB audio, is class compliant, and works with any Mac OS X application that accepts USB audio at that data rate. The GuitarPlug has a 1/4-inch guitar plug for use with any electric guitar or bass, and the MicPlug has an XLR plug for use with any dynamic handheld microphone. Both devices are $50 each.
