Triple Triangle has released , a suite of InDesign plug-ins that automate the creation of advertising mechanicals. It comprises Slug Cubed, Crop Cubed and Job Spec Cubed. Mechanical Cubed integrates these tools so that studio artists can create or modify a mechanical setup in a single step. The latest addition to the suite, Job Spec Cubed, allows mechanicals to be created from a simple PDF Job Specification form or automatically from a front-end job management system such as a FileMaker database. Slug Cubed, Crop Cubed and Job Spec Cubed are priced at $200, $80 and $130 respectively per seat.
