Bitcartel today announced , an update to the audio utility that allows users to record Internet music, sports and news for later listening on your iPod, PDA, mobile or computer. This update brings support for real-time encoding to Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, LAME MP3, standard encoding to 3GPP and Apple Lossless, as well as numerous improvements and fixes. It can record broadcasts in RealAudio, WindowsMedia, or QuickTime and save them as MP3, AAC, OGG, FLAC, 3GPP, or AIFF files. In addition, users can schedule recordings with iCal as well as recording from multiple sources at the same time. iRecordMusic ($25) requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
