More .Mac problems
Apple's . Many readers have been able to confirm the problem, but Apple has not acknowledged the problmes, has not offered any solutions in its discussion boards, and has not responded to several users' direct call for help and support.
According to several posts in Apple's support area, users are receiving mail without the body of the message; "I'm getting the same thing - no text in the body of the message- this is inconsistent in mail sent direct to my .Mac acct with about 1/3 having this problem. All forwarded mail has no text in the body. It's also replicated in the web based mail. Something is wrong and Apple needs to tell us soon."
Last year, Apple's .Mac service, which offers a suite of internet services for an annual subscription fee of $100, suffered from both email and connectivity problems and last month, Apple's .Mac maintenance caused widespread iDisk sync problems.

Poor reliability
I dropped .Mac after having a number of people over a month's time tell me their messages were bounced back as undeliverable last year. They had the address correct and I was nowhere near my limit. When I contacted Apple, they just cited the contract which states they don't promise any level of reliability.
I know .Mac offers more than just email, but when a free Hotmail account is more reliable than a paid subscription, you really have to question the $100 annual charge. It is really disappointing that Apple can't get their act together.
